Because of the Canada Day holiday, there is no game to write about this weekend. Next weekend we face our cross-town rivals, the Surrey Sabres; a matchup that is bound to be far more intriguing than the overrated Subway Series.
For now, be sure to eat, drink and be merry, and be at practice on Thursday, as a participant or just as a spectator, either/or.

I was chatting with a guy who wants to come check out a game or a practice, and maybe join the team. I know that Brad's been talking to another guy who wants to do the same thing. If we're going to have a good turnout I'll invite him out. So........who isn't going to be there?
